I had a few the main one was that I loved that ICD had women in higher roles. I’ve wanted to work somewhere where I can be mentored and inspired by so many incredible women. I also love that ICD is committed to designing & building properties/projects that stand the test of time and with social, community & the environment in mind!
I didn’t expect that everyone would be so nice! It honestly took me by surprise! I also loved that I was always treated as an equal regardless of the role that I played in the bigger picture and even if the input I had wasn’t always correct etc. I was never afraid to speak up or ask questions.
Ohh hard one! I have definitely learnt to back myself a bit more and stop saying sorry. ICD has definitely allowed me to have some confidence in myself and what I know. Everyone in the office is saying that I have no need to be sorry and that was a really big learning curve. Sorry felt like my security blanket.
I’m looking forward to seeing what new set of challenges the year brings! Taking on a new ADM role coupled with new sets of responsibilities.
