ICD part of Light Up Melbourne 2020

Making an electrifying return — in an effort to brighten up the year — Light Up Melbourne is set to provide a radiant glow again in 2020. ICD Property enjoyed a successful partnership with the event organisers in 2019, through which we managed to execute an enlightening display of lights in homage to the cultural tradition of lantern festivals in China.

This year is set to be the biggest yet with an improved dazzling attraction. The event welcomes guests in an enlightening display of cultural inclusiveness, in an effort to emblazon the importance of celebrating a diverse range of traditions.

Replicating last year’s success the festival will boast a selection of games, rides, food stalls and of course, an array of lighting exhibitions sure to leave the crowds spellbound. The event itself is free of charge, providing the ideal evening of family fun safe in the knowledge that the flaming lanterns won’t light a hole in your pocket.

The food offerings will impress visitors with a remarkable selection of snacks, including a ‘Little Sichuan’ area where the very best Sichuanese cuisine will be on display. The festival also displays nine major lantern light installations with a 27m long and 6m high ‘Eternal Dragon’ as the centerpiece.

After a quick bite, you can rest up and enjoy a great variety of cultural performances and entertainment at the main stage, or test your skills out and win some prizes at the amusement arcade.
