ICD is pleased to congratulate Zack Price for his promotion to Assistant Development Manager. Previously Zack worked for ICD as a Corporate Accountant.
Zack’s advancement to Assistant Development Manager was facilitated by ICD’s People Project who recognised Zack’s love for property and his desire to become more involved in development.
ICD’s commitment to promoting from within is spearheaded by Managing Director Michael Mai. He believes that it’s much easier to upskill those who are determined and passionate than teach these traits to someone who may be otherwise knowledgeable. Michael says “people are what made ICD the success it is today. It’s important to find good people and hold onto them. That’s why ICD always encourages our staff to grow and develop. We reward talent and this is reflected in the quality of our staff”.
After identifying Zack’s desire to shift into property, ICD’s People Project and Senior Management Team offered him a 3-month trial as Project Assistant.
Zack’s previous roles in finance and accounting provided the Development team with a valuable new perspective on projects.
After successfully completing his trial, Zack was promoted to Assistant Development Manager.
Zack’s growth since trialling and stepping into his new role is testimony to ICD’s core philosophy that when people are passionate about what they do, they’re able to do their jobs better. His love and excitement for development has been warmly welcomed by the Development team and ICD are proud to see him add value to the group in a new way.
