ICD bringing world-class architects to Auckland, NZ
After successfully acquiring 65 – 71 Federal Street, ICD began an international design competition with some of the world’s most highly acclaimed architects.
Intended to drive inspirational designs that achieve local council’s planning objectives, the design competition features international firms Warren and Mahoney, Zaha Hadid, Woods Bagot, Cox Architecture, and Elenberg Fraser.
All who are working to design a new hotel and apartment building to be developed on the site that will join Auckland’s skyline as a CBD landmark.
With final designs expected to be revealed later this year, ICD are enthuasiastic about the potential to create a premium product that enhances the local surroundings and enlivens the CBD streetscape.
