Meet Hayley Randall

Tell me about your role? My role is all about our people and making sure that they are well supported and have all the tools they need for success. We have worked hard at ICD in maintaining a strong and amazing culture, I am always looking at fun and innovative ways to keep the spirits of the team high from organising events and conferences to reward and recognition.

What’s your favourite aspect of this job? Well that is easy, I have the trust and support of the executive team to be as creative and fun as I want to be when it comes to rolling out new initiatives for ICD. I love coming to work everyday, it is so inspiring to be surrounded by such a high performing team that motivates me to be the best version of myself.

Describe your dream holiday? Take me to the April sun in Cuba!

What’s your favourite activity to do locally and why? I’m a passionate foodie who loves to explore and try new restaurants, cuisines and bars within Melbourne. I’ve definitely become the ‘go to’ in the office when people are looking for new places to dine – A responsibility that means trying a new place each week, a hard job but someone has to do it.

Can you share three things about you that you think no one here knows? 1. In high school I was the female high jump champion 2. I’m a licensed estate agent 3. My first ever job was at a local deli, which is where I believe I developed my love of cured meats

What part of your current job is your favourite? Making the staff happy and seeing their smiles when new initiatives are introduced.

Share one thing that you love to do that you get to do nearly every day Being innovative – At ICD I’m given the freedom to be innovative and I know that I work in an open environment so I feel I have no restraints and I’m supported with an idea I suggest no matter how outlandish it is.
