ICD Property development manager Alice Smith said the Fyansford community offered a variety of block types and housing styles to suit a range of lifestyles.
“We have lots alongside the Moorabool River, abutting parklands, up high on escarpments, or within private court bowls,” Ms Smith said.
“Modern townhouse products with views will also be available in the future.”
When complete, the Gen Fyansford community is expected to comprise about 1000 lots, depending on final planning approval, and will be home to about 3000 people.
The estate, on the Bellarine Peninsula, is a 55-minute drive from Melbourne’s CBD and an eight-minute drive from Geelong CBD. Torquay is 20 minutes away, while Geelong’s Corio Bay is a few minutes’ drive.
The first three releases, Riverside, Monier and Panorama, have sold out.
The developers have now released the first stage of a new precinct, The West End.
“This is an exciting move for us as it’s the first time lots to the west of the Moorabool River are being released to the public, so we’re essentially creating another extension to our community,” Ms Smith said.
The West End precinct will feature easy access to public open space, including parks and the Moorabool River corridor.
A neighbourhood village is planned for the community and in the future will feature a supermarket and other specialty stores.
Additionally, the area surrounding the Moorabool River is in the process of being rejuvenated and will feature extensive parklands.
“These will include walking and bicycle paths, multiple playgrounds, barbecue areas and exercise stations,” Ms Smith said.
“The West End precinct will also comprise extensive parklands, a future lake and other community facilities.”
The Monier release is under construction, with civil works due to be completed later in the year.
New homes are also being constructed within the earlier stages of the Riverside release, with many homes completed and residents moving in.
