Mai thrilled as ICD Property handed race day naming rights

Worth $125,000 in prize money, the 2016 ICD Property Nivison Stakes was won by Egyptian Symbol followed by Artistry and Rule The River.

“We were thrilled to be a part of the City Tattersalls Club Cup Race Day. It was great to be involved in the Sydney Spring Carnival and we look forward to continuing our sponsorship of the City Tattersalls Club Cup in the future,” said Michael Mai, Managing Director of ICD Property.

“The sponsorship came as a result of our relationship with the City Tattersalls Club through the development of their Pitt Street site by ICD Property in conjunction with Sinclair Brook. We have enjoyed working with the City Tattersalls Club team and the development has been a great springboard for us to expand our presence in Sydney’s property market.” Mr Mai continued.

Located at 194-204 Pitt Street, Sydney, the City Tattersalls Club is amongst the largest and most prestigious clubs in Australia. Last year, the Club announced it entered into a Development Management Agreement with ICD Property and Sinclair Brook to undertake a $96 million development project that will transform the existing facilities and venues and deliver new floors featuring apartments, a hotel, day spa, sky terrace and retail space.

Following the Group 3 Nivison race at the City Tattersalls Club Race Day, Mr Mai and other representatives of ICD Property presented the trophy and winning sash to the winning connections including trainer Bjorn Baker and representatives of Egyptian Symbol’s owner Cressfield, before joining them and the Nivison Family for drinks and canapés to celebrate the win.
